Jimmy Fallon enlisted his friends to make this year's Emmy Awards one of the funniest award shows in recent memory. In the opening number, Jimmy brought together the cast of Glee, Tina Fey, Jon Hamm, Betty White, Jane Lynch, Joel McHale and more for an epic opening number. The all-star group performed "Born to Run," Glee style.

Everyone was waiting for the first Conan O'Brien joke, and Jimmy Fallon worked this one into his monologue early. Other than the Variety Show montage, this was the most Conan we got all night.

"NBC asked me to host a late-night show, and I thought, 'What could go wrong?' Too soon?"

After winning the awards for Best Supporting Actor (Eric Stonestreet), Best Writing (and later Best Comedy!) Modern Family showed the Emmy audience some of the changes they've explored for season two, including the addition of George Clooney as Claire new husband.

In a tribute to shows that have passed away this year, Jimmy Fallon says goodbye to 24, Law & Order and Lost as Elton John, Boyz II Men and Billie Joe Armstrong, respectively. He couldn't work Neil Young in there?

The hands-down joke of night belonged to Ricky Gervais, who delivered this gem before distributing beer to the audience.

"Mel Gibson's been through a lot. Not as much as the Jews."
