The Best Late Night Clips of the Week (VIDEO/PHOTOS)

Posted: 01/27/2012 4:54 pm

President Obama finally broke through the onslaught of Republican debates this week to deliver his State of the Union address (complete with hilarious "don't cry over spilled milk" joke). But his moment in the spotlight was short-lived as the media quickly turned their attention back to the battle to the death between Mitt "Self-Deportation" Romney and Newt "Moon Colony" Gingrich.

These stories and more fueled the late night shows this week. Below are my favorite late night clips of the week. What were yours?

The meaning of life is to give life meaning

The Bill Maher one was excellent. He was spot on about the 'straw man' non-existent paranoid caricature the 'right', and Fox News of course, has always presented about our current President. And how it differs from criticism of the previous one, because it was based in reality, not fiction. Wake up to that simple fact alone and you will find yourself on the path of true freedom (you cannot have real freedom without truth, despite what Romney says).
