Behind The Scenes Of The ABC News/Facebook Debate

Last night DoubleSpeak had a behind-the-scenes view at the ABC News/Facebook debate. We spent most of the evening in the press filing center but did get a chance to venture out to the demonstration area and the spin-room to film. Outside the venue, hundreds of supporters of both the candidates who were welcome at the debate and those who had been excluded chanted, waved their signs, and protested what many saw as an unfair exclusion of their preferred candidate. Later in the press center, hundreds of reporters sat hunched over their laptops busily filing their stories with an occasional glance and chuckle at the big screens around the round. Finally we ventured over to the spin room to witness the many surrogates praising their candidate.
