After the debates were finished we spent time in the nearby spin room tracking down surrogates to get their impressions on the debate.
Here are some highlights from our interviews. The first piece includes Massachusetts Governor and Obama supporter Deval Patrick and John Edwards political consultant Joe Trippi. We also spoke with Time Magazine columnist, Joe Klein.

Joe Klein wrote a great biography on Woody Guthrie, but he has been a self promoting, wishy washy, this way and that way media whore since then. His political analyses are uninteresting and never amount to much. His best work is way behind him.
Thanks for the audio streams. My connection is slow and I love being able to hear what I need to hear without having to wait for a poor streaming HuffPo video to load. Thanks!

Nice interviews, guys.
Trippi makes a good point that they did more with less than the "frontrunners." Edwards may be critical of some corporate practices, but he has the best ROI in this race.
Klien is an idoit, period. Why do these people AWAYS get a platform??
