Republicans Putting The "Labor" Back Into Labor Day

As the Democratic Convention kicks off in Denver, the Republicans are finalizing the details for their convention next week in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

When the RNC kicks off next Monday, it will be a celebration for many reasons. Not the least being, that next Monday is Labor Day. To help build excitement, the Republicans released this promotional video. Take a look.

God bless the G.O.P. !

Even though Labor Day was created in 1882 as a "day off for the working man", the Republicans know that in this horrible economy that they created, that our workers shouldn't be taking a day off! They deliberately scheduled their convention to begin on a holiday so the service industry in Minneapolis-St. Paul could get an extra day of work and an extra day of pay!

Never let it be said again that the Republicans are not a friend of labor. They know in the 21st century, "days off" are for "losers". And what better way to honor the American worker, than by having him work?

Oh man...that "dirty hippy protester" line really cracked me up. Keep up the great work, I love the cartoons!
