Oh my god! Sarah Palin was right! And after we mocked her, mercilessly, for what we all thought were asinine comments about death panels. Little did we know that Sarah the Oracle was just trying to warn us when she said
The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's "death panel" so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their "level of productivity in society," whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.
Why didn't we listen?!? We have obtained footage of Barack Obama's Death Panel passing subjective judgment on Sarah Palin's parents and child. I warn you, the footage is shocking. Take a look.
Oh, thank god. I guess it was just a dream. Which makes sense seeing as a bill hasn't been passed. But, it makes Palin's dire warning none the less apt.
I think we can all agree that we should continue to allow our health care decisions to be made by the people making them now. The for-profit insurance companies.
Certainly we can trust the motives of an industry that makes obscene amounts of profit off the sick and the dying.
So, call congress and President Obama today. And tell them to keep their damn government hands off our private industry Death Panels!

nicely done! our private industry death panels kill more people each year here than die in auto accidents.
In 1996, he wrote an essay stating our youngsters with neurodevelopmental problems, Down's, cerebral palsy, autism, etc. are not worth allocating health care dollars for.
As we rightly honor Eunice Kennedy Shriver for championing special needs citizens and special Olympics, isn't it heart warming to know Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel argues in print that all of them didn't deserve medical care?
That's right Palin bashers! Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Rahm Emanuel, APPOINTED by Obama to head the soon to be all powerful council on comparative treatment effectiveness, that will DICTATE to doctors and patients what treatments are allowed, and who is allowed to get them, and who is NOT.
And, unlike an HMO, or insurance, with the option to appeal or sue if wronged,
you won't be able to sue Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel's all powerful government panel. (previously known as a "politburo.")
Ezekiel is already there, his scary recommendations already long since in print, and he has constant communication with Obama's budget director Olzhig (sp?)
So who's the real fool, Palin, or the bashers who know far less than they arrogantly think?
Sure, do everything possible to fight against the creation and existence of a government committee or council. It's still your RIGHT as an American to do so. Lucky for us, the Bush Administration didn't remove ALL of our civil liberties or ALL of the system of checks and balances that hold excessive power at bay.
If this council is implemented and turns out to be ineffective, unpopular or just plain wrong, we still have the ability to pull it down and make ourselves heard.
The real fool is Sarah Palin. She is an ignorant, attention seeking fear monger, an irresponsible and ill informed politician. I'd be willing to bet she's never read Dr. Emanuel's ideas for herself, yet she has no qualms about whipping up the ill informed into a frenzy of paranoia and fear. Logic is irrelevant, so are facts.
She mugs her beautiful face on television and print and calls out "The Death Squads are coming! The Death Squads are coming!" We have to laugh to keep from weeping.
Godwin's Law, Sarah. Look it up.
(I thought the SP voice did a good job - the real Palin picks up and drops her "alaskan accent" depending on how "folksy" she wants to come across as. Try listening to some of her speeches before she was picked up by McCain. Palin is a pretty good actress and a pretty bad everything else.)
