Matvey Ganapolskiy has worked as a host and political commentator at Russia's most famous radio station, Echo of Moscow (www.echo.msk.ru), for the last 20 years. He is head editor for the Echo of Moscow political blog, and a frequent contributor to Daily Magazine, another prominent Russian politics blog. He also blogs for the popular Ukrainian news site, TSN.UA, and the well-known Georgian political site, Weekly Pallet on the politics of the former USSR. He has published several books, including a textbook on journalism popular in Russia, and has won awards for his work in Russian television, radio and print journalism. At present, he lives in the United States, where he works for Echo of Moscow and several other web-based publications as a special correspondent.
