Is Carl ready to be born again?

Carl Icahn tells Reuters that he thinks the Google search deal Yahoo signed "might have some merit" and is "better than the alternative deal proposed by Microsoft"

Carl, are you ready for your baptism?

There are approximately 2.1 billion Christians on the planet. There are approximately 1.5 billion Muslims on the planet. According to the outgoing neo-cons in Washington these two groups are locked in an epic battle for moral superiority. But who listens to those clowns anymore?

The Bible sells 30 million copies a year, it's the biggest publishing sensation in history. The Koran sells fewer, but this is because the Koran is meant to be memorized and passed on verbally.

America has its spelling bees, the Muslim countries have their Koran reading competitions.

Here's the new, new thing. I think both Christianity, (it's antecedent Judaism), and Islam are losing traction. There is another 1 billion strong group on the planet that is fighting for its fundamental right to thrive according to its own fundamentalist principles and Holy Book.

The Holy Book I am referring to is the offering prospectus for Netscape's 1995 IPO anointing our Holy Father Marc Andreesson who in turn gave birth to his Son Jerry Yang of Yahoo and the twin Prophets Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google.

The Father, Son and Two Holy Ghosts comprise the spiritual basis of The New Economy Church of Net Neutrality & Equal Access.

Today this online church is set to become the biggest congregation on Earth.

How to use this Church to better mankind?

There are many ways this global online nation could exert its dominion.

For example, why not gather our flock to return to our digital homeland that existed before the copyright extension act of 1998. This could be accomplished by ignoring the current unconstitutional copyright-supremacist dictatorship and adopt the Swedish Pirate Party as our 'political wing.'

Here's another way.

There are 1.38 billion shares of Yahoo stock outstanding. If every single one of the billion plus online netizens bought just one share (for about $24 dollars) we could protect our Jerusalem from falling into the hands of infidels like Steve Balmer and Microsoft.

But let's wait to see how brother Carl swings. He may convert to The New Economy Church of Net Neutrality & Equal Access and keep his 59 million shares or he might sell, in which case, shares of our Church Yahoo would be on offer at a rare discount to their spiritual value.
