Reading the runes:

1. Buffy Wicks, Obama's California Field Director, is reporting problems in the state for "Decline to State" (Independent) voters, who are not finding it easy to vote in the Democratic Primary. In some cases, such voters are being handed a ballot that does not show an option to vote for Barack Obama. What is going on here? Actually, voting Independent sounds kind of complicated. As it turns out, you have to fill in the bubble that says "Democrat" and the bubble that says "Obama." This may be a bit much for folks who had trouble with butterfly ballots.

2. Hillary Clinton is blanketing Democrats today here with robo-calls.

3. Today the HRC Campaign has sent out emails asking for help "getting out the vote" in California today. This has been a wide emailing--to anybody who has had any kind of contact, however tangential, with the campaign.

4. Make of this what you will: tonight the HRC Victory Party takes place at the field office in San Francisco. The Obama Victory Party is in the Grand Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel. (Of course, this is just the San Francisco Bay Area.)

5. California's 4 million absentee ballots won't be fully counted until tomorrow.

In CA you must ask for a Democratic ballot.
Gov. Shwartz said if you are Independent you can not vote in the primary. This is FALSE.
You can not vote Republican, but the Dems got their shit together and you just have to ask for a Dem. ballot.
