Medard Mulangala Lwakabwanga is a member of Parliament and leader of the Union for a Republican Majority, one of the founding parties of L’Union Sacree pour L’Alternance, the new nationwide political movement in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is currently Secretary of the Congolese Parliament’s Committee on Economics and Finance and has formerly been Director of Citigroup in DRC and has served in different ministerial positions including Minister for Mining and Energy in the transitional government of 1990-1992.
