Make Believe Ballroom: Live From Zig Zag

Sometimes the king is a woman and sometimes a man is the queen. Tonight you're whatever you want. The view of the Hudson fades into the steam of the indoor jacuzzi, and a gentle fog clouds our vision. There ain't no reason you and me should be alone tonight.

Outside @Iancogneato picks his royal court, and inside everything is illuminated. Monsieur Marcel Marceau pours the fullest-priced drink, but you get what you pay for. It's a blacked-out blur, and the pictures ended up on the only party-photographer in New York City that doesn't have a websites' Facebook.

I need a man that thinks it's right when it's so wrong. Sometimes a man is the queen. Sometimes a man is wearing a black raw silk Gaultier dress and has beautiful lavender hair. Be color blind, don't be so shallow.

I want you to feel like nothing else matters, except this moment, so I drop the lows and start to bring in the next beat. I let naked bodies fight for attention and other bodies fight for love, but every-body wants to dance with somebody. I made you believe it for those three minutes, and the three minutes after that, and after that. You coulda been anywhere in the world, but you're here with me. Sometimes the king is a woman.

Peace, love & get all you can, Big Apple.
