Michael Foote is a deputy district attorney in Boulder, Colorado. As a prosecutor he handles a wide range of felony cases but has specialized in prosecuting financial crimes and arson. He also recently completed a master’s degree from the University of Denver Korbel School of International Studies, focusing on terrorism, insurgency, homeland security, and intelligence matters. Michael has written about terrorist prosecutions, the rule of law, and other national security topics. He is also a Principal and Security Fellow in the Truman National Security Project. When not working, writing, or spending time with his family, he enjoys cycling in the beautiful mountains of Colorado and competing in triathlons.
