Michael Jay was, until his recent relocation to the New York area, a delegate to the California Democratic Party and the Co-Chair of Progressive Democrats of Los Angeles. In 2006 he served as senior advisor to Marcy Winograd in her historic grassroots race against Rep. Jane Harman, effectively portraying Harman as the eccentric who had left the Party. Michael remains part of the national team of Progressive Democrats of America (PDA).
