Michael Jee is an Off The Bus Reporter for the Huffington Post. He is temporarily based in Denver, CO to cover the presidential election as a political journalist. He has traveled extensively and lived throughout the US, allowing him experience the unique cultural and political climate of different regions.

He has been a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Broadcasting Society & Alpha Epsilon Rho. He currently serves as a journalist for the Independent Media Center, which offers grassroots, non-corporate coverage of local, national and international news.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Communication Studies and Political Science with a concentration in Media Studies and Production. He worked on the production staff and as a reporter for “Carolina Week,” the nationally distinguished and award-winning student newscast. He has also worked with the Office of New Media at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Department of Athletics and as an intern with Walt Disney/ABC in Burbank, CA, because of his past involvement and interest in film.
