As a native New Yorker, Michael King attended the prestigious Parsons: The New School for Design and received a BA upon graduation in 2006. Shortly after graduating, Michael began his career freelancing at Vogue in the accessories department before moving over to a PR position in-house at Ralph Lauren. Although Michael’s day job is within the fashion industry, his true passion is in the culinary arts. Growing up, obsessed with the Food Network, Michael knew food was going to be a big part of his life. Not knowing how to begin a career in the food industry, Michael decided to launch The Food-Life.com, a website dedicated to the love of all things food and fashion, with his good friend/partner Lauren Levinger. Michael continues to work in the field of fashion public relations today and co-operates The Food-Life.com.
