I hope that somebody proves that Hillary was fed the questions in advance by George. It was so obvious. In the previous 20 debates she has never had such prepared responses to all questions. It was disgusting.
e... this was an Obama hit job. Not a fair debate.
Where is the whistle-blower???
And if the softball questions that were thrown to her vs. the trashy questions that were posed to Obama wasn't obvious enough... How about the way the so called moderators interrupted Obama over and over as he was answering with 3 or 4 follow up questions. In comparison, Hillary did not get the same treatment. As a matter of fact Gibson was even insulting Obama saying that he "didn't feel like he got an answer from Sen. Obama" before asking Hillary the same.
Even the lighting was biased. The audience was lit in green except three Hillary supporters who had a nice favorable warm glow spotlight on them: Chelsea, Clark and Rendell. Which virtually every cut to the audience was a shot of them. Reprehensible!!!
Someone needs to investigat
Shame
Completely agree. He was set up! Sadly enough Hillary and Georgie just don't seem to get it that this usually doesn't bode well for her. It ALWAYS backfires and ends up costing her. Idiot. This was shameful and she knew exactly what was coming at her at all times. Can you imagine the tears she would be crying had this been done to her? Get her out NOW. It's time to get on with the people's business of electing a president and making darn sure it IS NOT McCain.
Right on! I went straight to Hillary's website and told her she's a cooked goose, stick a fork in it. And that I proud to be volunteering for Obama's phone bank. This morning I got a thank you note from her campaign suggesting I switch to the losing side. What a laugh!
I disagree. I have been a fan of George's for years, even when he worked for Bill Clinton, and he is one of the most objective political reporters. Watching him over the years, and recently on his GMA segments, he has had some scathing things to say about Hillary Clinton during this primary season. George has a history with the Clintons, but the man is far too smart and savvy to ruin his own career for Hillary Clinton. I didn't hear all of these people spewing nonsense about Russert and Matthew's, or even Olbermann doing hit jobs on Hillary. Imus was right, Obama is a pussy! And I'm black, so that racist bullshit won't fly either.
I started reading commentary before 8 p.m. so I didn't watch. I guess noone asked George why he let Hadley get away with the 'Nepal' references on his last Sunday show. I guess media doesn't know the difference between Tibet and Nepal either.
My vote for best picutre - the products, and the fact that there are as many pics of the pretty boys as of the candidates, maybe more.
I am bitter in San Francisco.
The pictures speak a thousand words don't they?
Thanks!
That is exactly what ABC/DISNEY put on the air.
The last ad should have been from Royal Crown as we all needed a shot.
Well done!
i was reading the comments before the tape delay on west coast_ so i was expecting AWFUL
but I was not prepared for what was really SAD... watching charlie gibson "jump the shark"
all he needed was fonzies leather jacket and the pictures would be perfect
shame on abc_what a horrific abuse of airtime
perhaps under president obama, america can return the public airwaves to the public for intelligent, inclusive and thoughtful
discussions of how to solve our problems and make this world a better place...
regime change is in order not just in the white house, but at abc news as well
