Sheesh, and I thought Newsweek was juicing the wackos this week.
TIME is not only in absolute collusion with the radical right in offering up this week-long, national FU to moderates, progressives, and, especially, President Obama (who the literally mad Beck wipes his feet on every chance he gets), it's also rubbing our faces in the not just contemptuous, but unbroken and lurid exposure to Mr. Beck's organ.
With so many confused and troubled people being politically exploited right now, TIME has, in effect, gone beyond good sense to pull its own Joe Wilson. Simply put, in that tongue is another flaunting of decorum to incite the crazies.
...And props to Greg Mitchell who eviscerates the article.

Oh, how perfect!
Time couldn't stop at putting Glenn Beck on the cover and providing him a lovefest between the covers.
Nooooo! They had to capture the most offensive pose possible - Beck sticking his icky tongue out at America (and the World).
They just couldn't leave it to our collective imagination...
I have, for a very long time, considered Time Magazine a notch above that rag The Enquirer. I see now, that with this assaulting cover, it is actually a notch below.
it'll sell well with people who don't read but in the long run this will probably do more harm than good.maybe next month they can put Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers on the cover.
Wow, what a coincidence....almost "popular front"-ish.
we in Europe have two big wars, and ditadores , and fascist and a lot of blood.... but since 1970 , the people of the deferents country's in Europe begin to start a revolution for democracy , some of without blood. But we have fight, we have defeated the oppression and the aggression and we have win. It was not ease but the people wen have determination they can do everything.
So you must go to the streets, not one day, but 2,3,6,10 days until you have what you wont. You must go to the streets without fear and fight for yours rights. you must help your President and fight against the company's monopoly , against the racist and xenofobic discrimination, and fight for the right of every person in USA can have health insurance
I faithfully subscribed to Time because it was an important window on world events in my childhood home even though my Republican mom inexplicably disliked the Luces. Seeing that red border around the house was a comforting sign of stability no matter what chaos was going on.
I cancelled it over twenty years ago when it became more and more obsessed with personality (and eventually spun off People) rather than serious reportage. It was at the forefront of dumbing down. Apparently this obnoxious cover will picque some impulse sales at the newsstand, but I'm not tempted.
Time is an anachronism. Fighting to hold onto a shrinking and graying demographic. So Republican.
What's a magazine to do? They ran out of Obama photos. Glenn is NOT the person of the year --Hannah Giles is.
I'm really disappointed in Time magazine. I'm done, I will not purchase this rag again.
Where are the real journalists hiding?
Glenn Beck: The Gutter Press Czar.
What's next for Beck? Time magazine's Person of the Year?
Good grief.
I'll NEVER buy Time again! I can't even look at that cover. It's offensive on so many levels!
I receive mine in the mail! I returned it with a cancellation notice!
Bravo! I hope others follow your excellent lead.
let not give attention to anyone any more either from the left or right...next issuw of time magazine is going to be all whie and were going to complain that Time should have pick another color.
Sorry that time magazine didn't pick a side....I quess being in the middle is offical dead now...As Colbert said, "Pick a side, Where at war"
I thought this was an issue on Bi-polar disorder when I saw the picture, but then I put on my reading glasses and read the caption. The words "man" and "style" should never be used in the same sentence as "Glen Beck".
