High Noon: Who Will Rise Up? Edwards, Richardson.....

It's "high noon" at the Iowa Caucus this week.

Is the real race happening for Senator John Edwards and Governor Bill Richardson in Iowa and onto New Hampshire? Sadly the media seems absorbed in the Clinton/Obama race, and may be missing something poignant and far more profound happening.

It appears that the boyish charm and anti-corporate messaging of Edwards may be playing well in Iowa. In fact, there may be surge beyond anyone's prediction for Edwards and if he moves -- does Governor Bill with his strength in foreign affairs?

Bets are that Richardson will hold his ground until the Western state primaries that are just around the corner.

Oh my, what have we begot? Will there be an upset in the early caucus and New Hampshire primary?

It certainly is Hillary Clinton's to loose.

Will experience pre-empt soothsaying?

Who has the best organization on the ground?

Which organization understands what it takes to win in the Caucus?

Come on guys and gals of the mainstream media, let's giddy-up and figure this one out. Let's stop the media myth making and dig in to the nitty-gritty of what it takes to win the Caucus.

This presidential race is in free fall.

And the question remains, who will rise up?
