Help Plant Trees in Your Neighborhood

What's Your Reaction:
Tree People

Ever wish your neighborhood had a few more trees? Trees help make cities more livable and help reduce energy costs by providing natural shade. You can make your street a nicer place to live by organizing your own community tree-planting. Tree People will help teach you how to become a Citizen Forester!

TreePeople, a local nonprofit organization, is offering its bimonthly Citizen Forester training to L.A. County residents on Saturday, July 10. You will learn how to organize a community tree planting on your street, campus or local park. Attendees receive a free Citizen Forester manual and ongoing support for their tree planting event. TreePeople supplies all training, information and support needed to organize volunteer tree plantings and follow-up tree care events.
