Mike Lyon is an Army Veteran who served in the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment from 1988 -1991 along the old East/West German Border. He is political activist and in 2006 formed Band of Brothers 2006 to support Military Veterans running for Congress. He also served as the Executive Director of the Patriot Project. Mike is originally from Arkansas and got his start in politics as a volunteer for Bill Clinton in 1992; he has gone on to work as a staffer on numerous other Democratic campaigns.
