Mike Sheer
GET UPDATES FROM Mike Sheer

Mike Sheer is from Toronto because of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His English actor dad was scouted there by Canadian showbiz types and so he and his also English other half moved there and blah blah blah sex blah blah babies.

Anyway, for nearly a decade Sheer has been honing his stand-up comedy oeuvre in Toronto, Melbourne, and London. His Edinburgh Festival solo show debut "Mike Sheer in Undergod -- Free" is on at the Counting House (Venue 170) -- near Bristo Square -- at 1:05 p.m. every day of the Fringe.

Undergod has played the Camden Fringe 2011 and the Brighton Fringe 2012 and was well-received by critics and audience alike, winning online praise and even some compliments in person. It was called "Smart, snappy stand-up with a brain" by definitive UK comedy guide Chortle.co.uk via a list of "Ten highlights from the free shows."
