Every human being has access to three kinds of energy. The first is dynamic, which is the energy of doing. You engage it when you work out, write an action plan, clean your desk. The second is receptive, the energy of not doing. You employ it when you practice patience, listen carefully to someone, relax in a hot tub.
The third is magnetic, which is energy that draws toward itself what it wants. You employ it when you set an intention. The more you set out strongly what it is that you desire, the more what you want tends to increase in your life. Why or how this is true is beyond my rational comprehension. But the more I observe, the more I have to conclude that it's true. Focus on problems and they tend to multiply. Focus on what you want and that tends to increase. Notice I say tends to -- it's not a direct correlation by any means.
We're not totally in charge here. But according to quantum physics, somehow we do increase potentialities with our magnetic thoughts.
