Politics

In this election cycle, we're getting an increasingly clear view of role of class in America. More than intellect or talent or public perception or deeply held beliefs, class defines what tribe you belong to. Despite the masquerading of politicians as "good small town Americans," their job marks them as a very different species.

"Politics" is a visual representation of the electoral players (the wealthy, the voters, and the parties) coded by class.

My work is like Where's Waldo gone bad. Swarms of detail let you hide all sorts of wicked and revealing things. Kind of like earmarks in a Senate bill. I think art should reward repeated viewings, and the more you look at "Politics" the more evil jokes you should find.
