Monica Engebretson is the North America Campaign Manager for Cruelty Free International - the global campaign to end animal testing for cosmetics.

For over 15 years, Monica has worked to protect animals from cruelty and exploitation including field work, undercover investigations, lobbying, and media and public education campaigns. She has led campaigns on several issues including wildlife conflicts, trapping, fur, and captive wildlife with an emphasis on exotic birds.

Monica has now turned her attention to animals used in cosmetics testing. As part of a strategic global effort, Monica leads Cruelty Free International's U.S. and Canada campaigns with a range of projects and activities designed to bring an end to animal testing for cosmetics.

Cruelty Free International is the only global organization dedicated to ending cosmetics testing on animals. It works with governments, regulators, companies and partner organizations worldwide and has placed the issue of animal testing on the agenda of many governments for the very first time as part of a global strategy to tackle product testing on animals. With offices in London, Boston and Singapore, Cruelty Free International is applying its determination and vision on a global stage to repeat its success in Europe worldwide.
