The Huffington Post and iVillage have joined forces for this campaign to celebrate the special relationship between Mothers and Daughters. We are collecting all kinds of Mother/Daughter material -- stories, blogs, letters,
conversations, photos, videos, art and publishing them on the Huffington
Post. This project launched online on April 11, 2007 and we will be posting
new submissions until Mother's Day. If you would like to participate, please
share with us your take on a special mother or daughter in your life. And
there is no need to limit your stories to biological mothers and daughters;
we want to hear about any special women -- young or old. Simply email Wendy Cohen with a story, picture, letter etc. before May 1st.

Dinner was starting to take frustratingly too much time to prepare, with all the children clamoring noisily, "Imma, I'm so hungry!!" "That one's for me!" "I'm next!"

We were set up for 'technical failure' due to a lack, I realized finally, of adequate equipment to meet the challenge of providing...

Now at last I sing of you
Because you are unsung

forgave

While you were there
like the...

My mom turns ninety in July and she's a hottie. She had fifty-four years of devoted wedlock to my father. Then he died and after a period of ardent mourning, she kicked up her heels.

Though she never boasted, I knew she'd been hot in school--the way I...

It's 80 degrees in Washington today; 85 in Tucson. That five degree difference is as close as I am going to get to my mother today. She is alone in a hospital trying to figure out why she is in that paper gown, starting at those same dull green walls...
