Super PAC Ads of the Apocalypse -- and Unilateral Disarmament

President Obama's (non-coordinated) "Priorities USA Action" is the latest Super PAC whose organizers have to used the phrase "unilateral disarmament" to suggest a move they absolutely, positively, can't possibly make, because it's the equivalent of electoral self-destruction given the avalanche of Super PAC ad spending.

Have you ever wondered about the rhetoric? And why Super PAC ads sound so apocalyptic? Maybe it's not an accident.

Now that you mentioned this, I am hearing "unilateral disarmament" everywhere I turn and none of it is in regards to the Middle East or actual arms. What the hell?

It's kinda like when you're shopping for a dishwasher and then all you see are dishwasher ads. But in this case the dishwashers don't actually wash dishes.
