Muhammad Ali Hasan was born and raised in Colorado. A lifelong Republican, Hasan was a former candidate for Colorado's State House, as well as for Colorado State Treasurer. Hasan is also the former founder of Muslims For Bush. An award winning film director and screenwriter, Hasan is currently developing a dramatic biopic about Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. An expert snowboarder, Hasan and his dog, Deelya, split their time between Colorado and Los Angeles. Hasan graduated from Occidental College and received his Masters in Film Directing from Chapman University.
