Nadim Hasbani is a Senior Media Analyst at the International Crisis Group, where he focuses on Arabic-language media. Prior to joining Crisis Group in October 2004, Nadim Hasbani worked at the French defense equipment producer Giat Industries, and at the Mission of the Arab League in Paris. He holds a Masters in Political Science from Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, and a Masters in Journalism from the Institute for French Press at University Paris II. He is currently completing a PhD in Middle Eastern Geopolitics at the French Institute of Geopolitics. Nadim has written on security and defense procurement policies in Gulf countries, reform in the Arab world, and political risk assessment in Lebanon and Syria. He speaks Arabic, French and English.
