Nancy Armstrong is a web producer on MAKERS: Women Who Make America - a multi-platform AOL/PBS project that tells the compelling story of women’s advancement in America over the past 50 years. Nancy worked previously as an Account Supervisor at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in Manhattan, as well as Cohn and Wolfe, a boutique PR and communications firm. Nancy’s first career was as a film, television, and stage actor and singer in Los Angeles, California. Her career highlights included co-starring roles on Third Rock from the Sun, L.A. Heat, and a lead role in the comedy pilot, Kinks. In addition to numerous stage performances, Nancy wrote, directed and produced the one-woman show entitled, A Look Beyond the Attitude, that she performed at the acclaimed Cinegrill Theatre at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Nancy currently serves on the board of directors of the American Red Cross, Metro New York North Chapter, The Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, and the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation. She received a BA in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MA in corporate public relations and communications from Boston University. She resides in Greenwich, CT with her husband, Tim, and their three children.

Muriel Siebert certainly made her mark on American history. In 1967, after having her application rejected nine times, she succeeded in becoming the first woman to buy a seat on the New York Stock Exchange.
