GET UPDATES FROM Nancy Bruski
I am a clinical social worker, public speaker, and long time political activist. I have served as president of my professional union as a young social worker, and have been passionate about Democratic politics for 40 years. My first political campaign was as a "Get Clean for Gene" girl, canvassing for Eugene McCarthy back in '68...will never forget those cute straw hats we wore. I took my kids to their first political demonstration when they were preschoolers, a pro-choice rally. In the '04 campaign I canvassed weekly in Wisconsin for Kerry, and held about 10 Moveon.org events in my home, but I have never been as passionate as I am about Barack...I want my country back!!!
