Nancy Gomez brings more than two decades of business, law and creative development experience in entertainment and media to her role as Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Rattlebox.

Gomez was inspired by her father’s involvement in the traditional greeting card business as an executive at both Hallmark and American Greetings. Ultimately, it was Gomez’ disdain for the generic and boring (predominantly what’s offered on other e-card sites) that motivated her to launch Rattlebox.

Gomez also serves as President and Executive Producer of Film Garden Entertainment Inc., where, since 1994, she has overseen the development and production of more than 600 episodes of television programming for a variety of television networks. Her credits range from WE’s “Platinum Weddings” to Travel Channel’s “Taste of America.”

Prior to founding Film Garden, Gomez held several senior executive positions in creative and business affairs for companies such as Paramount, Live Entertainment and GRB Entertainment. She also spent time as a practicing attorney in the litigation department of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker.

Gomez received her B.A. in Communications from UC San Diego. She went on to earn a Law degree from the University of San Diego, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude after receiving four American Jurisprudence Awards and participating on the law review. Gomez was also awarded an endowment to study creative writing at USC’s Professional Writing Program, which culminated in published works of poetry and short fiction, and some of the wittiest blurbs featured on Rattlebox.com video e-cards.
