Nancy Tilghman worked at CNN in New York for ten years as a field producer and segment producer. She worked on most of their programming including Inside Politics and Larry King Live. Following her work in television, Nancy joined the New York Times as a freelance correspondent. She is currently an active member of the board of “Women and Democracy,” at the Council on Foreign Relations.

What was it like growing up in New York?
