Posted: 07/12/2012 2:44 pm

As we inch closer to September's 225th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution, Reason Magazine's Senior Editor, Damon Root, describes the modern day battle developing around our nation's law of the land: between conservatives and libertarians.

Root explains the important differences between how these two groups look at the constitution, which he says all Americans should care about as "it's providing real limits on government power that spells out what the government can and can not do."

Join us each week this summer for re:constitution, as we explore the history and future of the U.S. Constitution leading up to September's 225th anniversary.
