Neal F. Bermas, Ph.D, and Sondra Stewart are both on the Board of Directors for KOTO USA, a non-profit organization supported by educators, entrepreneurs and culinary professionals. It was created to help street children in developing countries by taking them off the streets, housing them, providing medical care, education and vocational training in culinary and hospitality.

Dr. Bermas, is a frequent traveler to SE Asia and founder of KOTO USA. He lectures at both the Institute of Culinary Education and NYU. He is a restaurant owner and operator of an award winning restaurant, as well as an international management consultant in a variety of industries, including culinary.

Sondra Stewart is also a frequent traveler to SE Asia, with extensive experience in organizational start-ups. She is also a managing partner with Collective IQ, the largest corporate venture group in the US.

Together, they are working on a pictorial essay of SE Asia.
