Obama and Bright Lines in the Sand
Obama again refused to give a strong defense of the public option himself. By doing so, he just dug the hole deeper. What exactly does Obama stand for in the health care debate?

Last week's headline was quite salacious. "Gov. With Latina Quite Curvaceous" Guess he found someplace finer than his home state of South Carolina.
What did I learn from my 3 week media experiment? It's easier to zone out in front of a glowing rectangle than engage in reading.
Here's a note for the "to do" list of the Obama Administration's newly appointed Domestic Violence Czar - or Czarina in this case: Battered wives and ...
When bullsh**ters see red, their common sense is dead. What is it that Mark Sanford, Bill Clinton, John Edwards, Elliott Spitzer AND Bernie Madoff ha...
Trying to make a man monogamous is like trying to make an artist into a mathematician. You can lock him into a room full of numbers for eternity, but let him out and the first thing he'll do is draw.
Obama's poll numbers have dropped this month -- a whopping one-and-a-half percentage points. Reports that the sky is falling may be overblown.
Our values are changing from profits and competition, to collaboration and community, focused on philanthropic giving for environmental and social responsibility.
Republicans' private embraces are often in complete contradistinction with their own oft-trumpeted, Biblically-mandated "moral" guidelines for the rest of us.
Mr. Clinton turned to Mr. From and said: "I would never have become president if it wasn't for you."
Mark Sanford isn't a man's man, nor is he a ladies' man. He's a very strange man, to be sure. But basically he's a selfish man.

Sanford built his career on questioning other people's morals. He was on his moral high horse, all along, and now he's undermined everything.
It is hard to conceive of Hillary Clinton or Sarah Palin holding a news conference to say they had been conducting an affair, disappeared to another country to call off an affair or visited a male prostitute.
Edwards, Spitzer nor Sanford belong in the same sports metaphor with The Libido From Little Rock. Bill Clinton scaled Mount Narcissus and planted his flag.
Just as President Obama's second quarter nears its end, the predictable happened: the gloat over his reported light dip in popularity has begun with a vengeance.
The first reaction from Republicans has been to marvel at the courage Sanford has shown in owning up to his discretions. But he uses religion only when it's convenient for him.
Americans and their media treat ex-presidents like kids treat difficult parents once they either die or stop parenting and start doing something useful, like helping them to pay off a mortgage.
Harry-and-Louise-style ads are powerful, not because they tell ignorant Americans what to worry about, but because they remind well-meaning Americans of what could be lost in the name of progress.
Why is gun control considered a "cultural" issue, when those who value guns support various forms of gun control?
It's now almost impossible to defend supply-side's deep tax cuts and minimal regulation, the result being that Republicans are without much belief system.

Some of these posts really make me laugh. Everyone is so worried about the Obama's on their vacation. Truth known, they pay their own way on many of these junkets.
If you will remember when ex Pres. Bush (W) was coasting in his last year in office, he took many trips to far off lands just to say a fond farewell to the leaders of the various countries. Did anyone complain back then? I think not. He could have just picked up the phone, but that wasn't good enough.
How much is this vacation going to cost the taxpayers?

Pres. Bush in his last year in office, took 8 trips abroad...his farewell to leaders of the world. I never heard of anyone complaining about Bush;s trips.
Wow! Looks like the tr0ll patrol here. Well, ignoring them, just like to say these photos sure make me homesick.
Did some swatting. Almost wasn't worth it -- quality of their Sore Loser postings definitely degrading with each spew.
Bill and Ted and Barack go for a drive ......
it's ironic because the irish(Kennedys) ,coloreds(Bamas), and hillbillies(Clintons) are about as far from royalty as one can get. these 3 groups are usually cleaning the Royal chamberpot
It turns out actual history is incompatible with your stupidity, since Africans were Kings, Queens and Pharoahs for centuries prior to the European tradition of royalty.
Characteristic sore loser spew.
