I'm sad to report that even the greatest friendships end. Even the ones you thought were rock solid and iron clad; with history and memories, unconditional love and support. A B.F.F. breakup can be worse than a boy breakup: it creates the same kind of pain, rejection and abandonment, but it leaves a bigger hole in your heart.
Grownups, especially parents, have a difficult time being accountable for their behavior when it comes to their child. When confronted with a situation that triggers a tailspin, as we witness on reality shows such as Dance Moms or Cheer Perfection, parents are quick to defend their poor behavior saying they are only "supporting their child" or "speaking their mind."
I think the word bullying is overused in general -- with both adults and minors. We see the word being used inappropriately or out of context in many cases today... I think society has co-opted this term, which is sad, because it is actually weakening it and people are not taking it serious as they should.
