So much of my "wisdom" or, more accurately, just "stuff that I say," comes from the actual wisdom of the great mentor of my life, the incomparable Norman Lear. Graduation season is the perfect time to share Norman's "Norman-isms."
Far away from a test, consider the interview as a courtship or dance. Essentially, you're telling a story about yourself and the way you have approached work and relationships. If you're prepared and relaxed, you're more likely to land the job.
College would do its tuition-paying customers a favor by not solely focusing on hard facts/skills. They are important, but an even greater need exists in helping students develop an understanding of themselves.
