Choose to be actively involved in your education. The students who wait to be told what to do and when to do it are the students who have trouble staying on track. The students who take the reins over their classes, jobs and college career in general have a less complicated time.
As my college career unfolded, I discovered I was learning how to do college along the way. My grades weren't great (more on that later) because of some of the early lessons I learned, but by the time I graduated I had this thing nailed.
Planning ahead at age 15 is a difficult concept for most young men. Here are some tips that I hope are helpful for my nephew and other young men (and women too!) who are starting to plan their own roadmaps for the future.
