Another strange weekend of Premier League football has come to an end which saw Leicester pull ahead at the front by three points as Manchester City and Arsenal both faltered against West Ham and Chelsea respectively.
Manchester United's last hope for silverware this season went up in flames, as Arsenal defeated the Red Devils. United certainly had their chances this game, but failed to convert enough of them to win or even force a replay.
Something unforeseen happened just shy of 50 minutes into Tottenham's opening match of the season against newly promoted Crystal Palace on Sunday. Referee Mark Clattenburg blew his whistle, pointed to the penalty spot, and allowed a Spurs player to take a free kick at goal.
