Throughout the 1920s, Congress was focused on slashing taxes on the wealthy and eliminating business regulations, arguing that a free market could govern itself and that a rising tide would lift all boats. The results were devastating. Fast-forward 90 years, and you'll wonder: Why haven't we learned our lesson?
Democrats need to point out that they're turning over to the new Republican Congress an economy that is doing better than at any time in the past six years. They need to lay this down as a benchmark that they can later point to, no matter what happens. Republicans are already chomping at the bit to claim all that credit for themselves.
Designing heart-stopping, beautiful objects requires a perfect cocktail of design, styling, expression and aesthetic function - and is not for the faint of heart. Design thinking, design process or a branding matrix, are not sufficient to infuse artifacts with a visceral experience of intense beauty and desire.
