Bear spray
The Nordstrom at Los Angeles' Westfield Topanga Mall was ransacked by dozens of masked robbers, the second such crime in the area in a week.
Five people were treated after the attack with bear repellent at the Santa Monica Pier.
Police are still trying to smoke out the three would-be robbers.
