Betsy Myers is the founding director of The Center for Women and Business at Bentley University. Prior to her appointment, Myers was a senior adviser to Barack Obama's presidential campaign, as COO and as chair of Women for Obama.
Gloria Larson is the president of Bentley University in Waltham, Mass., and launched the PreparedU Project in 2013. Before joining Bentley, Larson was an attorney, public policy expert and business leader.

This is the first time in more than a half century when I am not planning a return to school after Labor Day. I don't need to get a new lunch box, wardrobe, or haircut, or face the annual apprehension about the challenges that lie ahead.
It reminded me of the Nov. 26, 2008 terrorist attacks that happened in Mumbai, India. It reminded me of 9/11 in New York. Was this happening right here in my city? It took me a long time to come to terms with it.
