Within the creative process of writing and performing this music I found the courage to be vulnerable, and as difficult as it is to share these feelings with the complete unknown, I know it is worth letting go of the fear I have in sharing.
But the point remains. Halloween is here and somehow our own skeletons (in this case, our need for attention) tend to come out and demand -- I mean, command -- the spotlight. It is around this time of the year when we consciously or unconsciously become "hustlers" for attention.
"The bottom line is that vulnerability is scary and it feels really dangerous, but it's not nearly as dangerous or scary as spending your life on the outside looking in and wondering, 'What if I had chosen to show up?'"
