We all want what is best for our children, but the truth is that we are all in this together. Vaccines matter. They save lives. And when they are not given, the impact can be devastating and far-reaching.
Every 20 seconds, a child around the world dies from a disease that could have been prevented by a vaccine. Annually, that number equals almost half the children entering kindergarten in the United States alone this year.
Each year more than 1.7 million children die from vaccine-preventable diseases. Childhood immunization has the power to change this. I am calling on CEOs and corporate executives to join me in the fight to reduce child mortality.
