Beyond the economic impact of its alumni, Saint Peter's is an economic driver in itself. The University is making an indelible impact in New Jersey and its surrounding communities as it employs more than 500 individuals and has an economic impact of more than $400,000,000.
When I see for-profit companies focused on social entrepreneurship as much as nonprofits, I have hope for the future of our world. Three other panelists come from big corporations, yet their jobs center around finding the creative opportunities in collaboration with social entrepreneurs.
Collective Impact holds great promise for our communities to create sustainable solutions. Leaders will need to be more collaborative, inclusive, asset-based, committed to learn, and accountable to implement this approach effectively.
