There's a song on country radio right now by Tim McGraw titled "Humble and Kind" which I feel teaches important lessons for anyone willing to learn them. For me, it speaks to the idea of remembering what matters most in life. It's a song that everyone should hear at least once, and I feel a person going through a divorce should memorize its lessons.
When the Dixie Chicks announced their 2016 tour, I got excited... then got carried away. I can't wait to welcome them back from a "Long Time Gone" in London, cry to "Cowboy Take Me Away" in Dublin and sing the ultimate female empowerment anthem, "Goodbye Earl," with my girlfriends in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
You may already know a lot about Jim Ed Norman, and just not realize it. In any case, you almost certainly know a lot of his music, although you probably don't think of it as exactly 'his' music.
