We put mounds of pressure on ourselves. Now, in our 20's and 30's, we're well on our way to having it "all" (or close to it). And we're crumbling under the pressure. We're blaming ourselves for failure and well, we're weeping over pork roast.
I come by my superwoman alter ego honestly. Executive. Parent. Wife. Taxi Service. Scheduler. Soccer Mom. Overnight Doctor. The list goes on. Unfortunately, the consistent drive to maintain impractical standards of success has worn us down.
What could you could do with the time you spend at that dull committee meeting, or baking cookies for your daughter's bake sale, or whatever nagging commitment you unconsciously put ahead of working on that idea that means so much to you?
