You take off your headphones and... ring! Your ears buzz. Or hiss. Or rumble. It's called tinnitus and almost everyone deals with it. It's usually a temporary annoyance -- but for some, the ringing never stops.
Coping with tinnitus is an ongoing struggle with many illuminated peaks and darkened abysses. Sometimes I dare to think that maybe, just maybe, the ringing will subside.
