Unfortunately, though, I began to consider Of Little Faith a first novel that would never be given a chance, and the fire in me to see it get published began to diminish.
Mystery books are great, but I'm talking about the unknown when I start a book or see a movie. I don't need to see a trailer before a movie to sell me on it. Likewise, I don't need to read a review or summary before I start reading a new book. Just a taste will do.
So if we know how to be the masters of time in the novels and stories we create, why not be masters of our career chronology as well? And why not create for ourselves beginnings that bring us the meaning and joy that we're looking for?
