I am wondering if, in this election, we are missing the point by confusing excellence with being an enabler. Perhaps people who think Hillary Clinton is an enabler do not know that the power of love is seated in an open and forgiving, generous heart.
Whether it's solving a design issue, designing a machine to enable a process to work, or finding an alternative to a patent, the enabler in a company is the unsung, quiet hero who innovates his way around obstacles that would typically stop mortal men.
The worst part of never saying no is that our projects never come to fruition in a way we want them to. And that stinks. Lately there's been lots of arguing and debating about goals, success and leadership, much of it revolving around setting boundaries for ourselves and others.
